Husqvarna has discontinued the 701 Vitpilen and Svartpilen after just two and a half years.

As reported earlier, Husqvarna is presenting another new model today. The rumors seem to be confirmed that it could be a Svartpilen 125.
Husqvarna has put a countdown on their homepage that will expire at 3pm on February 3rd. The same procedure was seen recently at the sister company KTM, which then presented the 1290 Super Adventure S. So we can assume that Husqvarna will also present a new model.
At the end of 2019 the adventure motorcycle Husqvarna 901 was announced. Now a picture has appeared from a dealer presentation, which shows that the finished model is exactly the same as the concept.
After Husqvarna launched the Svartpilen and Vitpilen in different engine sizes, another sister model will be launched with the E-Pilen. As the name suggests, this is a motorcycle with electric drive.
Spy photos reveal that the new Svartpilen will get a two-cylinder engine.
KTM North America calls the Husqvarna 701 Vitpilen and Svartpilen back, because of a possible fuel leak.
