Kawasaki has exhibited its hybrid prototype “EV” at Intermot.  By the end of 2025, Kawasaki aims to launch more than 10 different types of electric and hybrid electric vehicles.

The presentation of a drivable EV already took place in August 2022 at the 8-hour endurance race in Suzuka.  It is a motorcycle in the performance class of a 125cc.  In purely visual terms, it is based on the Z models.  However, Kawasaki has not yet revealed any information about the EV.

The development seems to be quite far advanced, when the hybrid motorcycle will be released is not yet clear.  However, Kawasaki is not only focusing on electric power for future motorcycles; e-fuels and hydrogen are also on the cards.
