Last December, Zongshen introduced the RX6 prototype. Now an enhanced version has been shown at CIMA and is scheduled to be launched in 2021.
Designer Shane Baxley used the computer to design his idea of an electric motorcycle equipped with spokeless wheels. These are the so-called orbital wheels, which are wheels without hubs. They were developed by the Italian designer Franco Sbarro in the late 80s.
Will this be what motorcycles will look like in 2025? At least industrial designer Maxime Lefebvre could imagine that, because he developed the concept on behalf of Yamaha.
Designer Oberdan Bezzi apparently asked himself this question, at least he provides a possible answer.
