Motorcycles from Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJ Motor are now coming to the European market. Starting in June, the manufacturer, which also includes Benelli, will launch three high-quality models.

New Chinese motorcycle brand?

Qianjiang Motorcycle Co was founded in 1985. In 2005, they bought the traditional Italian brand Benelli. Since then, they have also developed engines with larger displacement, which made them the market leader for motorcycles with more than 250cc in China. In 2021, Qianjiang’s own brand QJ Motor presented itself for the first time at the EICMA in Milan. In its luggage was a new high-end motorcycle collection that would reflect the company’s complete know-how.

QJ Motor wants motorcycles that offer a combination of innovative technology, an independent design tailored to international customer requirements, as well as impressive riding characteristics and a lot of riding fun.

Powerful engines with digital injection and moderate fuel consumption as well as high-quality components from renowned manufacturers are used. One of the aims is to offer the highest possible quality of workmanship.

Three models to be launched in Europe

The SRK 700, SRV 550 and SRK 400 models are to be offered at the launch in July 2022.

QJ Motor SRK 700

The SRK 700 is equipped with butted aluminum handlebar, a digital LCD multifunction display, USB socket, lavishly finished 2-piece seat, LED lighting all around and high-quality chassis components. In Germany, the price will be 6,999 euros.

QJ Motor SRV 550

QJMotor image SRV550 01©leeb motorThe SRV 550 is a modern cafe racer with purist retro styling. The 554cc two-cylinder produces 47.6 PS (35 kW) and 51 Nm. The model offers appealing styling, a low seat height and is said to be perfect for daily use in city traffic and on interurban roads.

Like the SRK 700, the SRV 550 is equipped with two 320mm brake discs at the front, into which radially mounted calipers are allowed to bite. A butted aluminum handlebar, a digital LCD multifunction display, a USB socket, a lavishly stitched seat and state-of-the-art LED headlights, taillights and turn signals are all on board as standard. Price-wise, you’re looking at 6,699 euros.

QJ Motor SRK 400

QJMotor image SRK400 02©leeb motorThe SRK 400 is a sporty A2 bike. The sharply cut light mask, the eye-catching trellis frame and the aerodynamically pulled back chassis make it look like a hyper naked bike. Performance-wise, however, it lacks a few horsepower to justify the addition Hyper. The 400cc two-cylinder produces 41.5 PS (30.5 kW) and 37 Nm.

It is equipped with a full-color TFT display with automatic day/night mode, backlit handlebar gauges, LED headlight, taillight and turn signals, butted aluminum handlebar, two-tone 2-piece seat, ABS braking system with Wave brake discs and the racing-style 2-in-1 exhaust system. The naked bike is priced at €5,799 in Germany.

Leeb is general importer

The general importer for Austria and Germany is Hans Leeb GmbH, which has its headquarters in Wolfsberg / Carinthia and has been active in the import, distribution and development of motorized vehicles for over 40 years. 50 employees will provide professional and personal support to the dealer network in Germany and Austria.

“We are pleased to be able to offer our dealers innovative and high-quality motorcycles with QJ MOTOR, which are of high quality workmanship and breathtakingly designed down to the smallest detail. With the SRK 400 and SRV 550 models, we are appealing not only to young motorcycle beginners, but also to customers who are interested in a fun-to-ride motorcycle as an alternative to a car. With the SRK 700, we are targeting performance-oriented bikers who are looking for a motorcycle that can be ridden with precision and has a throaty power delivery,” says LEEB Motor Sales Manager Hans-Jürgen Leeb, describing the 2022 QJ MOTOR vehicle program.
