Honda has announced the data of the Hawk 11. However, these data only refer to the Japanese market. Whether the model will also be released on other markets has currently still not been confirmed, even though it is considered likely.
Engine data of the Honda Hawk 11
The liquid-cooled parallel twin of the Africa Twin is used, with 1,082 cc displacement. Bore and stroke are 92.0 x 81.4 mm. 100 hp is said to be available at 7,500 rpm, with maximum torque of 104 Nm reached at 6,250 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed transmission.
The Big Piston upside-down fork comes from Showa. Shocks acting on the Prolink rear swingarm are damped via a monoshock. Tire dimensions are 17 inches, and braking is by dual-disc brakes up front and a single-disc brake at the rear.
Four riding modes are available: Sport, Standard, Rain and an adjustable mode. In addition, there is Honda’s Selectable Tourque Control and, of course, ABS.
The seat height is 820 mm, the weight 214 kg. The fairing is made of Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) which saves weight.
The colors Pearl Hawks Eye Blue and Graphite Black are offered. The release in Japan is scheduled for September 29.
