Norton has announced that they are looking to develop an electric motorcycle that will be unveiled no later than 2024.

Norton is looking to invest a total of £17.2 million for the project, of which £7.5 will come from a grant from the UK government.  It can be assumed that Norton’s parent company TVS will assist with the project, although they also only have experience with smaller electric scooters so far.

According to initial reports, Norton is working with Delta Cosworth on the battery, HiSpeed Ltd on the motor and Indra on the charging system.
