With an expected output of around 40 kW (54 hp) at approximately 9,000 rpm and a torque of around 45 Nm, the engine is said to offer an ideal balance of performance, weight, and efficiency.
This platform will not only be used in future models such as the Apache RR 450 from TVS or a BMW F 450 R, but will also form the heart of the new Norton generation. This gives the British brand a modern, modular foundation that can be used for different applications and designs.

The first new Norton models are set to hit the Indian market before the end of 2025. The clear aim is to position the brand as an accessible but high-quality alternative to market leaders such as Royal Enfield. TVS not only brings large manufacturing capacities to the table, but also extensive development resources from its cooperation with BMW.
What makes the project particularly exciting is that Norton wants to deliver not only motorcycles with good performance data, but also machines with character.
