A Honda patent that deals with the location of an oil pump could reveal a new Honda model.
The model on the pictures is almost identical to the Naked-Bike CB300R. The frame is completely different though. Considering that the patent is about an oil pump assembly, the effort to draw a completely changed bike seems to be a bit exaggerated – especially if you consider the level of detail.
The frame is reminiscent of that of the CB400 SF, a Japanese model. Especially the rear suspension seems to have received a lot of attention in the oil pump patent. You can see a monoshock damper mounted directly on the swingarm without the use of a deflection.
The question that arises is why all this was not simplified when it is not really relevant for the patent. Rumors are already talking about a new Honda CB model, but Honda already has many different CB models on the market that cover all segments.
