Argentine battery technology is used for the battery pack. It is water-cooled and have 20 kWh. A charge should range from 400 km of moderate urban traffic to 250 km of highway operation. With a fast charging system, 50 percent of the charge should be reached in 15 minutes. It takes 30 minutes for 85 percent.

It is also interesting to be able to use the Rod 1 as a stationary energy store. Theoretically you could connect a home solar power system to charge the battery, or buffering the energy of the solar system.

The engine delivers 150 HP and 250 Nm. It sits directly on the swing axle and transmits the power to the rear wheel via a toothed belt.

The Rod 1 should accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just under three seconds. The top speed is specified as over 250 km / h.

The electric motorcycle should come onto the market at the end of 2020. So far nothing has been revealed about the price.
