MV Agusta has unveiled the update for its Sportsbike Superveloce for 2021. Visually, the bike remains almost identical in retro look. Only the end pieces on the rear silencer have been made a little more angular and sharper. Otherwise, there are new colors, the engine tuned to Euro5 and an upgraded electronics package.
Performance data and innovations
The in-line three-cylinder had to be reworked to make it fit for Euro5. However, it lost some power as a result. 147 PS and 88 Nm are specified by the manufacturer. Thus one loses one PS by the conversion.
The Superveloce now also offers cornering ABS and lean angle-dependent traction control thanks to the six-axis sensor. The suspension has been re-adjusted and a new 5.5-inch color TFT display has been installed.
MV Agusta Superveloce S
The variant with the “S” designation is new. It is equipped with an Alcantara seat and wire wheels. In addition, a racing kit is included. The kit includes an Arrow exhaust, a new engine mapping, as well as a mono seat, all designed for the racetrack.
Colors
The MV Agusta Superveloce 2021 will be available in Ago Red / Ago Silver, Pearl Metallic Yellow / Matt Metallic Graphite starting.
The S variant is available exclusively in Surreal White / Matt Gold.
