Triumph recalls Speed Triple 1200 RR/RS models due to cooling fan problem

The latest version of the Speed Triple 1200 RS was introduced in Spring 2021 and features a 1,160cc inline-triple engine with 132 KW or 180 PS and 125 Nm torque.  The Speed Triple 1200 RR model followed in September 2021.

Both models have a problem with the cooling fan.  The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration warns that the cooling fan may fail on the 2022 and 2023 models if the machine is used at high temperatures and in traffic jams.

This can lead to overheating and leaking or spraying hot coolant, which can lead to injuries.
