KTM is recalling the RC 390 R from the 2018 model year to its workshops. Reason, the handlebar stubs could break.
Apparently, the handlebar clamps were subjected to faulty heat treatment after casting, which could have caused cracks in the material. This could lead to the fact that the handlebar clamp could break. The 2018 model is affected.
KTM writes to the holders and replaces the handlebar stubs in the workshop. This takes about 40 minutes.

My handle bar clamp broke in 2019 , i purchased and replaced it and upon inspection discovered the other clamp was cracked.
i reported this to my dealer and the cracked one was replaced under warranty.
upon receiving recall letter in april this year i inspected clamps and found cracks in both.
replacement parts are only just received by my dealer and due to time of year not booked for replacement at dealer until end may which has meant i have been unable to use my bike for 2 months which as well as having to cancel a trackday has been a huge inconvenience
