Danilo Petrucci steps in for injured Enea Bastianini

In a surprising turn of events, Danilo Petrucci, the former Ducati rider, will compete for the Ducati Lenovo Team in the upcoming MotoGP Grand Prix at Le Mans.  He replaces Enea Bastianini, who is still recovering from a shoulder injury.  Petrucci, who rode for the official Ducati team in the 2019 and 2020 MotoGP seasons, returns to a track where he has already been victorious once.

 

The Ducati Lenovo Team is ready for Le Mans

The Ducati Lenovo Team is looking forward to the upcoming race weekend at Le Mans with anticipation.  With Francesco Bagnaia currently leading the championship and former winner Petrucci filling in for the injured Bastianini, the team has a good chance of continuing its winning streak.  Despite expected difficult weather conditions, the team is determined to make the most of the weekend.

 

Marc Marquez returns and Honda celebrates milestone

While the Ducati Lenovo Team makes headlines with a change in its rider lineup, the Repsol Honda Team is looking forward to the return of its superstar Marc Marquez.  After recovering from a broken hand, Marquez will get back on his Honda RC213V and fight for victory at Le Mans.

In addition, the French Grand Prix marks a significant milestone in the history of motorcycle racing: it is the 1000th race since the start of the World Championship in 1949, and Honda, which has celebrated 817 victories in all Grand Prix classes, is proud to be a part of this important history.

 

A weekend of excitement awaits MotoGP fans

The upcoming race weekend promises plenty of excitement and thrills: the battle for the championship continues, comebacks and unexpected changes in the rider line-up add to the drama, and MotoGP celebrates its 1000th Grand Prix.  Fans can look forward to thrilling races and unforgettable moments.

 

The first free practice session starts on Friday, May 12.  The sprint race will take place on Saturday and the French Grand Prix will be held over a distance of 27 laps on Sunday.
