As Timur Sardarov, the CEO of MV Agusta revealed, the Italian manufacturer plans to enter new segments. He spoke of electric city mobility, adventure motorbikes and mid-range models. The 950 platform is also to be overhauled and the 800 platform updated to Euro5.

MV Agusta Adventure

The planned adventure model is to be published in different variations or engine sizes. Indirectly, a 500cc and a 1,000cc model have already been confirmed.

In an interview with Bike Social he explained the future of MV Agusta as follows: ” We are also moving towards becoming a mobility company rather than just a motorcycle company because we have a new DNA in which mobility is becoming more important”.

Quality of driving must be right for electric mobility

In the case of electromobility, we are currently still trying to find out how to achieve a balance between performance and usability. Building a motorbike with 250 electric horsepower is not that difficult, but this power would probably only be used for 2-3% of the riding time. Quality of the rider and quality of the ride must be in balance.

However, it has not yet been revealed when the new models can be expected.
