Retro motorcycles are extremely popular right now, which also applies to adventure bikes. MV Agusta could now take up the two trends and remember an old Cagiva, the elefant.

MV Agusta boss Timur Sardarov said a month ago, that they were planning to launch an adventure bike. In the meantime, they have also secured the “Elephant” brand, which is to be used for motorcycles, motorcycle suspensions, clothing and other products.

Cagiva won the Dakar in 1990 and 1994 with the then “Elefant”. MV Agusta already secured the trademark rights to Elefant in 2007, but these expired in 2017. However, a motorcycle with the legendary name did not appear.

If you see the statement from the interview and the registration of the naming rights together, then hope is growing.
