Madrid plans to introduce an extra lane for motorcycles. However, the planned lane is very short and basically they want to avoid filtering motorcycles.
The planned lane for motorcycles is about 70m long and 1.30m wide. Mayor Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida wants to test it on a section of the Avenida de Asturias.
