Michael van der Mark will drive for BMW in the WSBK in 2021

The 27-year-old Dutchman will switch to the BWM team next year and start with the S 1000 RR. A one-year contract was initially concluded.


Van der Mark became Supersport World Champion in 2014 and switched to the Superbike class in 2015. So far he has had three victories and 29 podium finishes. Who will get the second place in the BMW team should be announced at a later date.
