Arturo Magni was jointly responsible for 37 championships at MV Agusta Racing. Where nowadays the brand seems to put the most emphasis on impressive design, between the 50s and 70s they dominated GP racing.
Later Magni founded its own brand. The company specialized in contemporary interpretations of the MV GP motorcycles of the time. In his honor, his company built the Italia 01/01 to mark the fifth anniversary of his death.
Retro looks were paired with modern technology. A classic chassis was used, fitted with a classic bubble fairing. It is powered by a modern Brutale 800 engine. The brakes are from Brembo. The wire wheels were equipped with Metzeler Racetec tires.
Whether the model will go on sale is not yet clear. However, it is more likely to be exhibited in a museum to pay tribute to Arturo Magni there.
