Harley Davidson has registered two designs with the European Patent Office that suggest an upcoming Cafe Racer and a flat-track style motorcycle.

In addition to the patent drawings, there are also pictures that should come from an investor presentation from September 2019.

Flat track

The flat track style model can be recognized as such. The double exhaust on the right side has been moved up, the seat is short, there is a front spoiler, a small lamp mask and a wide handlebar.

The rear lights and the license plate holder were mounted on the swing arm behind the rear tire.

There are also pictures of an almost identical machine as an electric version.

Cafe Racer

The rear of the Cafe Racer is a little longer and the lights and license plate holder are also attached to it. Damping is done with two struts, which are arranged on the sides.

The exhaust on the right side runs deeper and consists of only one pipe. A front spoiler is also installed here. Instead of the lamp mask, there is a half-shell.

Similarities

Both models together have an upside-down fork, double disc brakes on the front, radially mounted brake calipers and the new Revolution Max engine. In which displacement sizes it is installed in which model is still open.

It will be interesting to see what Harley-Davidson will make of it. In any case, they continue on their path, true to their new motto: “More Roads to Harley-Davidson”
