KTM is recalling the SX, SX-F and SMR models of the 2021 model year to the workshops because there could be problems with the drive chain.
As KTM has announced, the supplier of the chain had deviations during production. This could have resulted in defective chains being fitted. There is a risk of consequential damage should the installed chain fail.
For safety reasons, the drive chains of all affected motorcycles will therefore be replaced. The work in the workshop is expected to take a good 20 minutes.
