Honda rider Ken Roczen has surprisingly announced to withdraw from the Supercross World Championship for the time being. He must devote himself to health problems. When he will return is currently still unclear.
After his commanding victory in the season opener in Anaheim, Roczen was no longer able to perform consistently, which is probably due to his health problems.
Back in January 2017, the 27-year-old suffered a serious arm injury, which he had to battle with for a very long time. He later fell ill with the Epstein-Barr virus, recovered but also had to deal with relapses again and again. A Corona infection in January is said to have exacerbated this.
To prevent recurring limitations from the disease, Roczen decided to pause his career and seek treatment from specialists.
