Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Zongshen has launched the Cyclone RG3 in China. It is a sports tourer in the 400cc class.
Sport-tourers are actually usually equipped with high-displacement engines to allow comfortable riding on longer tours. Meanwhile, however, SportTouring machines with smaller displacement are being released more and more often. Zongshen in China has now introduced a corresponding model.
The Cyclone RG3 is powered by a 401cc parallel twin. It produces 42 hp and a top speed of 160 km/h or 100 mph is said to be possible.
The RG3 features an adjustable windshield, wide handlebars, a 6.75-inch color TFT display and ABS as standard. A small camera has been installed just above the front headlight, allowing riders to film their rides.
Whether the Zongshen Cyclone RG3 will also make it to the American or European market is still open.
