Sidecar riders Roger Stockton (56) and his son Bradley Stockton (21) have died after an accident during the second sidecar race of the Isle of Man TT. The accident occurred on the second lap at Ago`s Leap.

Sidecar riders Roger Stockton (56) and his son Bradley Stockton (21) have died after an accident during the second sidecar race of the Isle of Man TT. The accident occurred on the second lap at Ago`s Leap.

Roger Stockton was an experienced TT rider, it was his 20th start at the Isle of Man TT. In the years 2000 to 2008 he participated in the Tourist Trophy. After a break, he competed again from 2010 to 2017, scoring a total of 12 top20 and four top10 finishes, as well as 10 bronze replicas.
His son Bradley (21) competed in the Isle of Man TT for the first time this year and completed his first race on the island on Monday. In the race, the father/son team finished an impressive 8th place.
The pair contested their fifth racing season together this year. They have regularly been on the podium and at the top of the British F2 Sidecar Cup Championship, which they finished second in 2021.
