Rumors of an upcoming 300cc Harley Davidson for the Asian market have been around for a while. Now QJ Motor has submitted the type approval for the SRV300, which is also accompanied by a real photo. This motorcycle is likely to be the basis of the upcoming Harley.
The engine is a 296cc V-twin. The look of the SRV300 is strongly reminiscent of the Sportster Iron 883 or the already discontinued Street 750. The power is around 30 hp, which is sufficient for the Asian market.
With the small bike, Harley could increase sales figures on the Asian market and also establish itself there in the mid-range segment.
