Due to the worldwide difficult situation regarding Corona, Dorna is now considering running races without spectators and without the press.
The team association IRTA contacted the teams of the Motorcycle-Championship and informed them about possible plans. They are forced to run races without spectators. Guests and sponsors would also be excluded, only the teams themselves and everyone who would be absolutely necessary for the running of the race should be present.
The teams should now compile a list with all the people they absolutely need. The relevant lists are then sent to the host governments to discuss how the races could be held.
The journeys between the individual races should also be difficult. There are considerations here to link entry to negative corona tests or to put the participants under a strict but extensive quarantine, so that the races could be held but there could be no contact with persons not involved.
