Since all upcoming MotoGP races are currently being postponed, the stars are now virtually competing against each other.
On Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 3 p.m. CET, Dorna will host the first eSprots race, in which several stars will compete. The Milestone MotoGP simulation from 2019 will be played.
Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi, Maverick Vinales, Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins have so far been registered as participants. It is not yet clear whether more MotoGP stars will take part in the event.
It is planned to drive the virtual race track in Mugello. After a five-minute qualifying session in which the starting line-up is determined, the team then goes into a six-lap race.
