The Grand Prix scheduled for July at the KymiRing in Finland has been cancelled for this season and postponed until 2023.  This reduces the number of MotoGP races this year to 20 starts.

The ongoing geopolitical situation has led to delays in the ongoing work, for this reason the KymiRing could not be homologated in time.  Dorna, the team association IRTA and the FIM have jointly decided to cancel the planned race on July 10, 2022 without replacement.  However, it is planned to compete there in 2023 with the premier class of motorsport.
