LiveWire has unveiled the S2 Del Mar LE electric motorcycle and also launched pre-sales at the same time. However, the Launch Edition was only offered 100 times and only in America. – Within a very short time it was sold out.
From the FlatTrack to the road
The Del Mar was announced some time ago and was visually oriented towards FlatTrack motorcycles. In the production version, you can still see the kinship with the original design, but it was clearly developed in the direction for the road.
First only limited edition
The Launch Edition, limited to 100 units, comes in the special Jasper Gray or Comet Indigo paint. In addition, there is a special design of the 19-inch wheels. With the achievement 59.6 kW or 80 HP are indicated, with weight are it 199 kg.
The Del Mar accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The range in city traffic is given as 100 miles or 161 km.
The Launch Edition could be pre-ordered with a $100 deposit. The purchase price is $17,699. Delivery is planned for spring 2023. The standard model that follows is expected to cost around $15,000.
