Indian Motorcycles has introduced the 2021 Chieftain Elite, the latest model in the Elite series. Indian wants to celebrate their 120th anniversary with it, so only 120 examples will be offered worldwide. It is the most exclusive Elite model to date.
The Elite is powered by the well-known Thunderstroke 116 engine, which offers a massive 171 Nm of torque. Three riding modes are available. The settings Tour, Standard and Sport offer different riding characteristics in each case.
The Chieftain Elite comes with premium equipment. Among them is full LED lighting, a tinted windshield with electric adjustment, aluminum running boards and a 400-watt audio system that is said to offer crystal-clear sound quality.
ABS, keyless ignition, tire pressure monitoring and weatherproof cases are standard features. The cases hold 68 liters and can be locked by remote control.
The driving information needed is displayed on the 7-inch “Ride Command” infotainment system. It features CarPlay, allowing easy control of music, navigation and information from a paired mobile device.
The painting process of each machine takes more than 24 hours and is done by hand. Gunmetal flakes were incorporated into the paint.
The custom design of the bike is enhanced by the lowered suspension, 19-inch front wheel and open front fender.
Those who want to further upgrade or customize the look or functionality can access an extensive range of original accessories.
