Guy Martin returns to a road race
Only two years ago, Guy Martin said goodbye to Road Racing, although he said back then that he will continue to compete in classic or unusual races. That’s what he’s going to at Cookstown 100 in late April.
Reason for the rumors were the two years of racing abstinence after the rather unfortunate Isle of Man TT 2017 with Honda. Now the 37-year-old cult racer and TV star signed up for the Cookstown.
He will drive there his self-built BSA Rocket 3. It was planned for 2018 a start at Cookstown 100 and Tandragee, gearbox problems had this but prevented. He did not get the needed parts in time.
