BMW sold more motorcycles and scooters in 2019 than ever before. Compared to the previous year, they were able to increase sales by 5.8 percent.

175,162 vehicles were delivered to customers (previous year 165,566). Germany remains the largest single market with 26,292 motorcycles sold, an increase of 10.4% compared to the previous year.
Across Europe, they could increase by seven percent. 17,300 machines were sold in France, 15,580 in Italy, 12,607 in Spain and 9,611 in Great Britain / Ireland.
There were 15,116 units in the USA and Canada. In China, growth was 16.6% and 8,818 vehicles were sold. South America increased by 36.7 percent to 10,064 vehicles.
The most popular models were the travel enduro R 1200/1200 GS and R 1200/1250 GS Adventure. Around 59,000 copies were sold. The entry-level single-cylinder motorcycle G 310 R was sold 20,000-times.
