After the changes in the top of the HD-management, the company wanted to go back to the roots of the traditional brand. What this means for different, planned models that should appear under the motto “More Roads to Harley Davidson” was never announced.
So it was not previously known whether the small-volume Harley-Davidson will still be released. Apparently the release is still planned, but the date has been postponed somewhat, it should appear in 2021.
As previously reported, the small Harley will be built on the same basis as the Benelli TNT 300 and will be built under the direction of Qianjiang in China. A 338cc engine was originally planned, but the displacement is now to be increased to 353cc. At least for the Benelli this was announced and it is very unlikely that two different engines will be developed for the two models. Therefore, the Baby Harley should also get the 353cc engine.
