The A2 version of the Street Triple will be launched in February in Europe. Thanks to the output power of 70 kW, it can be reduced to 35 kW (48 hp) for A2 drivers.
The throttling can later be reversed by replacing the electronic throttle grip and updating the control software. The 660cc three-cylinder engine reaches the maximum torque of 66 Nm at 9,250 rpm and the maximum output (70 kW) at 11,250 rpm. Throttled, 60 Nm at 5,250 rpm and 35 Kw at 9,250 rpm.
Visually, the Tripple S is based on the RS and also gets the striking double LED headlights with the daytime running lights that hover above it like grim eyebrows. Otherwise, it also comes with a new flyscreen, air vent, new side and rear fairings, as well as the redesigned mirrors.
In addition to ABS, it is electronically equipped with a traction control and Ride by Wire with two driving modes. Optionally, Triumph still offers 60 items in the original range of accessories. These include LED flashing lights or a quick shifter.
At the market launch, the Triumph Street Tripple S will only be available in the color Crystal White.
