With a starting price of just 9,988 Malaysian ringgit (around 2,000 euros / approximately 2,100 US dollars), the CFMOTO 250SR Lite is positioned well below many of its competitors. The price is even lower than some 150cc sports bikes, while the model is said to offer superior performance, according to the manufacturer.
Technical data and equipment
At the heart of the CFMOTO 250SR Lite is a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 249 cm³, DOHC valve control, and four-valve technology. The maximum power output is 27.1 hp (20.5 kW) at 9,750 rpm. The maximum torque is 22 Newton meters (Nm) at 7,250 rpm.
Power is transmitted via a multi-disc oil bath clutch with slipper function. In terms of chassis, CFMOTO uses a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock rear suspension. Braking is provided by a 292 mm brake disc with a two-piston caliper at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear.
The permissible total weight is 165 kg (approx. 364 lbs, ready to ride with all fluids). The tank holds 12 liters of fuel. The low seat height of 780 mm is designed to enable safe handling, especially for newcomers and riders of smaller stature.
Modern features and equipment
The 250SR Lite is equipped with a fully digital cockpit that clearly displays all important information. In addition, there are two USB charging ports (Type A and Type C) so that mobile devices can be charged on the go. The lighting system is completely LED-based, including the headlight, taillight, and turn signals.
