Price and availability
The two new versions are available in India at a price of 99,465 rupees, which is equivalent to around €1,115 or $1,190. According to TVS, they are now available from authorized Indian dealers. An expansion of the offer to other markets has not yet been confirmed, but the UK is considered a possible candidate for export due to its strong Marvel fan base.
Engine and technology
Like the standard version of the Raider, the Super Squad models are also powered by an air-cooled 124.8 cc three-cylinder engine with three valves. It delivers 11.1 hp (8.2 kW) at 7,500 rpm and provides a maximum torque of 11.75 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This corresponds to around 8.7 lb ft.
A new addition is the iGO Assist system with Boost Mode, which is designed to improve acceleration. In addition, Glide Through Technology (GTT) is used to enable smoother handling at low speeds, especially in stop-and-go traffic.
Features and functions
The motorcycles have a fully connected, inverse LCD display that offers over 85 functions. These include riding data, navigation assistance, and notifications for calls and text messages. The chassis consists of a telescopic fork at the front and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload.
Design and target group
The visual design is based on the comic book characters Deadpool and Wolverine. Eye-catching graphics and special color variants are intended to emphasize individuality. With this approach, TVS aims to appeal primarily to a younger target group that values unique design and modern features.
Outlook
By continuing its collaboration with Marvel, TVS is further expanding its strategy of integrating lifestyle elements into its product range. For the Indian market, this is intended to increase the appeal of the Raider series for Generation Z in particular. It remains to be seen whether the models will also be offered internationally.
