More Information

Powerful appearance with greater range

With its striking cruiser design and low seat height, the Bonneville Speedmaster remains true to its classic lines. For the new model year, the fuel tank has been increased from 12 to 14 liters, which not only improves range but also enhances its visual presence on the road. Revised details such as redesigned side panels and intake covers give it a more modern look, while elegant accents such as the new bronze badge on the engine and high-quality chrome parts round off the overall appearance.

Focus on comfort and ergonomics

For longer tours, both the rider and passenger seats have been widened and fitted with thicker padding. New, straighter handlebars allow for a more natural seating position that remains relaxed but at the same time is designed to convey a more active riding experience. The low seat height of 705 mm (approx. 27.8 inches) ensures good ground contact and makes the Speedmaster attractive for smaller riders as well. The seat can be reconfigured between solo and dual seating as required. A passenger backrest or luggage rack can be added as an option.

Modern technology: safety and comfort

Technically, the Speedmaster has been upgraded with new assistance systems. An optimized cornering ABS system that adjusts to the lean angle and traction control are designed to offer greater safety in all riding situations. Two riding modes (Road, Rain) adjust the throttle response and traction control to the respective conditions. Cruise control, a slipper clutch, and a ride-by-wire system for precise throttle commands are also included as standard. A new, powerful LED headlight with daytime running lights and a cockpit USB-C port increase everyday usability.

The new Speedmaster rolls on 16-inch spoked wheels with lightweight aluminum rims. A 130/90-16 tire is used at the front and a 150/80-16 tire at the rear. The reduction in unsprung masses thanks to the aluminum rims is said to noticeably improve handling. Braking is provided by two 310 mm brake discs with Brembo calipers at the front and a 255 mm disc with Nissin caliper at the rear.

Drive: Classic Bonneville twin with modern tuning

At the heart of the Bonneville Speedmaster is the familiar liquid-cooled 1200 cc parallel twin. It delivers 78 hp (57.5 kW) at 6,000 rpm and provides a maximum torque of 106 Nm at 3,750 rpm. This results in confident thrust from low revs and the characteristic sound supported by the 270-degree crankshaft offset. The EURO 5+ emissions standard is met, and according to the manufacturer, fuel consumption is 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers. The chrome-look exhaust ends in two short mufflers, emphasizing the classic style.

An A2 conversion kit is available for the European market, allowing owners of the appropriate driver’s license class to ride the Speedmaster.
