From the racetrack to the road: a partnership with racing roots
The collaboration between these two industry giants began not in a conference room, but somewhat unconventionally on the race track. Akrapovič, known for high-performance exhaust systems, supplied leading Moto2 teams with their systems powered by Triumph’s 765cc engines, a combination that brought world titles in 2021 and 2022.
Parallel paths: similar values, united goals
Triumph and Akrapovič are focused on their alignment for high performance, excellent quality, distinctive sounds and advanced design. Accordingly, it is a natural progression for these two companies, which share similar values and goals, to come together to leverage synergies in their development processes.

Commenting on the collaboration, Triumph Motorcycles CEO Nick Bloor said, “This collaboration is about offering our customers even more choice by extending our range of genuine Triumph accessories. Working with Akrapovič to develop new exhaust systems for our upcoming models, we can give riders the opportunity to enhance the response and feel of their new Triumph motorcycle, knowing that the two have been developed side by side.”
Similarly, Davorin Dobočnik, CEO of Akrapovič, commented on the collaboration, “As a company, we are delighted to be entering into this new collaboration with Triumph. Ahead on the horizon: expectations and potential developments
It remains exciting to see what exact projects and models will emerge from this collaboration. What is certain is that both the development of exhaust systems for future models and some special projects are on the agenda.
