DC-themed helmets: New models for fans of Batman, Joker, Catwoman, and Superman

Ruroc is launching a limited edition collection of new helmets featuring the well-known DC characters Batman, The Joker, Catwoman, and Superman. For this edition, the designs have been applied to the current EOX helmet for the first time. In addition, a new Superman version is being released on the AT4.0 TRACK helmet – inspired by the current movie release.

Superman helmet for the racetrack: AT4.0 TRACK Superman

The AT4.0 TRACK Superman was developed specifically for use on the racetrack and is designed to evoke the new Superman movie with its striking appearance. The helmet model is made entirely of carbon fiber and is certified according to ACU Gold, ECE, and DOT standards. A double-D closure ensures a secure fit during athletic use, but the helmet is of course also suitable for road use.

In addition to Pinlock 120 anti-fog technology, the helmet also features a clear and a tinted visor. According to the manufacturer, special focus was placed on aerodynamics and minimizing weight during development. The helmet weighs approximately 1,400 g (3.09 lbs), making it one of Ruroc’s lightest and fastest models – both on the racetrack and in stores.

Batman, Joker, and Catwoman on the EOX

The EOX helmet is also being reissued with the new DC designs. The Batman edition combines subtle, satin red tones with the striking silhouette of the Dark Knight. The emblem remains subtle, with the design based on the iconic role of the hero in Gotham.

The Joker version, on the other hand, features bright colors: purple, green, and red reflect the anarchic character of the comic book figure. The striking grin on the front is a recurring element that Ruroc uses on Joker helmets.

The Catwoman design is brand new to the EOX series. The design is reminiscent of Michelle Pfeiffer’s role in 1992’s “Batman Returns.” A glossy black finish, subtle stitching, and a leather whip motif echo details from the film. Neon pink accents recall Selina Kyle’s transformation into Catwoman. The model is aimed at riders who prefer a striking and individual design.

Technical features of the EOX helmet

The EOX helmet uses a quad-composite carbon fiber shell, which, according to the manufacturer, ensures high safety and good ventilation at the same time. It weighs around 1,450 g (3.19 lbs). Visibility is ensured by a particularly large field of vision of 250 degrees horizontally and 100 degrees vertically. The visor is scratch-resistant, Pinlock-compatible, and can be adjusted to several positions.

In addition to DOT/ECE certification, Rheon shock absorption is also integrated for safety. The magnetic Fidlock closure is also designed to increase comfort. An integrated Shockwave system from Cardo with Bluetooth is provided for communication.
