Registration with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reveals an upcoming Harley-Davidson Softail Standard.

Registration with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reveals an upcoming Harley-Davidson Softail Standard.

The 2020 version of the Softail Standard is equipped with the 107 Milwaukee-Eight engine. It will be using the Softail platform, but will get a stripped-down version of the Softail design.

The standard models are traditionally only equipped with the essentials, which has an impact on the price. This should bring a slightly cheaper Harley to the market, but it is perfect for customizing.

Pierer Mobility AG, the parent company of KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas, is about to make significant changes to its Supervisory Board. Three long-standing members - including Chairman Stephan Zöchling and his deputy Rajiv Bajaj - are stepping down as part of a strategic realignment. Friedrich Roithner, most recently also a member of the Supervisory Board, will also be stepping down. The changes will take effect at the end of the next Annual General Meeting on June 23, 2025.
