Michelin has further developed the Road sports touring tire and presented the successor to the 5 Version. The Michelin Road 6 is also offered again in a GT version.
Of course, the Road 6 is to outperform its predecessor in many areas. It consists of “2CT”, a 2-component rubber compound, which will also be used on the front tire in the future. Improved stiffness in lean angles and greater stability, especially when accelerating hard or braking hard, are to be achieved.
The modified rubber compound of the tread is also intended to provide more grip in the wet and / or cold road, as well as an even higher mileage. Michelin states here an increase in mileage of 10 percent.
The Michelin Road 6 is offered in six front wheel and eight rear wheel sizes:
Front wheel: 110/70 ZR 17, 110/80 ZR 19, 120/60 ZR 17, 120/70 ZR 17, 120/70 ZR 18, 120/70 ZR 19
Rear wheel: 140/70 ZR 17, 150/60 ZR 17, 150/70 ZR 17, 160/60 ZR 17, 170/60 ZR 17, 180/55 ZR 17, 190/50 ZR 17, 190/55 ZR 17
For heavier machines, the Road 6 GT is available in one front wheel size and three rear wheel sizes:
