Expanded product range from WUNDERKIND-Custom
German manufacturer WUNDERKIND-Custom enriches its existing range with fresh accessories for Harley-Davidson Softail models. The new items cleverly combine ergonomics with appealing design, without compromising on quality.
A word from managing director Christian Mehlhorn
Christian Mehlhorn, the managing director, sums up the philosophy behind the new products like this: “Beautiful Harleys deserve beautiful accessories, and that’s why we’ve launched a range of motorcycle accessories for the Softail series starting with the 2018 model year. This is not just about a more harmonious look, because the milled parts, some of which are very intricately designed, also have great practical benefits.”
Fine tuning for the handlebar area
For the controls on the handlebars, new types of brake and clutch levers have been designed that not only look elegant but are also individually adjustable. In line with these levers are handlebar grips that feature vibration-reducing rubber. In addition, there is a selection of grip ends and handlebar mirrors that score points with replaceable scratch protection. A special mention goes to the LED turn signals for the handlebar taps, which are both stylish and elegant. A protective grille for the oil cooler completes the overall picture.
Rests on offer: for both rider and pillion passenger
Those who don’t like the look of the standard footpegs will appreciate the alternative from WUNDERKIND-Custom. The replacement footpegs are equipped with a grippy rubber, which is especially helpful in wet weather. Those looking for additional comfort can replace the entire footrest system with a version that offers more adjustment options.
Rear end in view: Sleeker and more elegant
The rear can also be embellished with accessories from WUNDERKIND-Custom. For example, there are small LED turn signals that can be easily inserted into the existing struts. The license plate can now also be presented in a more stylish way, thanks to the new license plate holder variants that can be mounted in the center or on the side.
Additional options and quality standards
To round off the range of accessories, there are elegant covers for the Timer and Derby as well as designed covers for the rear axle. Of course, all products are developed in-house and made of high-quality materials. They meet high quality and safety standards and come with a parts certificate, making them compatible with several motorcycles in the same model range.
