Even if everyone is curious about the upcoming little Sportbike Ninja ZX-25R and wants to know what the performance data looks like, Kawasaki has not yet officially revealed anything about it. An unofficial bench test report has now surfaced.
According to these documents, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX25-R, which is not expected to be launched in Europe, produces 41.4 hp (42 PS) at 15,350 rpm. The maximum torque of 20.8 lbs (28 Nm) is at 12,700 rpm. The red area starts at 17,000 rpm.
However, the data should be used with caution for several reasons. On the one hand, it is not known when or where this data was determined, nor for which market the engine was tuned.
Since the last rumors spoke of just under 50 hp, the bench test would not quite fit into the picture, since there is always less power on the rear wheel, but the difference given should be a bit much. The specified power is normally measured on the coupling.
