The Honda CBR1000RR-R SP received an award in the “Smart Product” category at the Red Dot Award.
When designing the new Fireblade, the designers wanted to transfer as much aerodynamics of the MotoGP racing machine as possible into an elegant street-legal supersport outfit. This seems to have been successful since the Fireblade won the Red Dot Award in the “Smart Product” category.
The Red Dot Award is one of the most renowned international design competitions. Outstanding achievements of international companies in product, brand and communication design are honored.
