On March 3, 2020, Harley-Davidson registered new logos with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
“Harley-Davidson” is written in a ring and the initials (HD) are embossed on a coat of arms. A flash of lightning adorns both logos, which could be interpreted as an indication of an electric drive. It can be assumed that Harley will label the future electric vehicles with the logos. However, there is still no official confirmation of this and the logos themselves have been registered for a patent without an explanation or purpose.
Harley announced some time ago that they would like to open up new segments and also want to become leaders in electric motorcycles. Apparently, the sales figures of LiveWire, which fell short of expectations, have not changed anything.
