The British motorcycle customizing shop Auto Fabrica has taken the BMW R nineT and created the “Type 18”.
They were inspired by the days of BMW aviation and combined aerodynamic components with sharp angles and flowing lines.
The wheels of the R NineT Scrambler were exchanged for those of the racer to transfer the sportier 17-inch setup. The fork comes from the Roadster and was shortened and anodized black.
Fenders, mounts and other accents were created in a 3D printer. The tank, parts of the seat and rear parts were handcrafted from aluminum.
To achieve a futuristic look, the motorcycle was painted with shiny black sapphire lacquer with matt gray accents.
The intake system has been revised and equipped with two air filters. The exhaust system was made by hand from stainless steel.
