Aston Martin Brough Superior AMB 001 Pro: An extraordinary collaboration

When two prestigious names like Aston Martin and Brough Superior join forces, the result is almost predictably impressive.  The AMB 001 Pro project is proof of this, a limited edition motorcycle series that sets new standards in both engineering and design.

Technology and design hand in hand

At the heart of the AMB 001 Pro is its 997cc V-twin engine, which produces an impressive 225 hp (167 kW) thanks to a turbocharger.  This high level of performance is supported by a precisely manufactured CNC aluminium frame and carbon bodywork, which not only ensures an impressive appearance, but also minimizes weight and optimizes driving dynamics.

The color scheme and design of the AMB 001 Pro, inspired by Aston Martin’s presence in Formula 1, combined with accentuated elements in Photon Lime, make the motorcycle a visual highlight.  Every detail reflects the care and high level of craftsmanship that goes into the development of these machines.

A price that reflects exclusivity

The price range quoted for the auction of one of these rare motorcycles is between £150,000 and £200,000 (approximately €170,000 to €227,000 / $190,000 to $254,000).  This reflects not only the rarity and exclusivity of the AMB 001 Pro, but also the elaborate production behind each individual example.  In Toulouse, France, Brough Superior manufactures each motorcycle by hand, a process that can take up to two years to meet the high quality standards.

Race track oriented design

With a clear focus on track use, the AMB 001 Pro is equipped with Michelin Power Slicks, which underlines its sporty orientation.  Aerodynamic features such as winglets help to optimize performance, even if the lack of a windshield makes direct confrontation with the wind unavoidable.

An opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts

The motorcycle available specifically for the auction, number 008, has never been ridden, although its engine has already been successfully started.  This offers a rare opportunity to acquire a virtually new motorcycle with potential collector’s value.  The auction will take place on April 07 during the Shuttleworth Spring Motorcycle Show.

Conclusion:

The collaboration between Aston Martin and Brough Superior has resulted in the AMB 001 Pro, a motorcycle that is both technically impressive and fascinating in its design.  For collectors and enthusiasts, the upcoming auction offers a unique opportunity to own a piece of motorcycle history.
