What initially sounds like the plot of an action movie is reality: Keanu Reeves and his motorcycle brand Arch Motorcycle have founded their own racing team.  With the new Arch Racing Team, the company is entering the US MotoAmerica series - specifically the popular Super Hooligan class.  But that's not all: the next big step is already being planned - a start in the legendary Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man in 2026.

Super Hooligan: Arch against the big names in the industry

The Arch Racing Team competes in a highly competitive class.  The Super Hooligan series features machines from heavyweights such as BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Triumph and Yamaha.  Arch emphasizes that the motorcycle used is not a modified series machine, but a complete in-house development – designed and built in-house.

Gard Hollinger, co-founder of Arch and key designer of the bikes, is responsible for technical management.  The team receives support from a well-known partner: Suter Racing.  The Swiss company, known from the Moto2 and MotoGP scene, acts as the official engineering partner of the Arch Racing Team.

Big goal: the Isle of Man TT 2026

According to Gard Hollinger, the moment was never right to start racing – until now:

“When testing our new engine and platform, it became clear that we have built a real monster.  It needs to be put to the test – we know it sounds crazy, but why not build a real team and compete against the industry giants?”

The goal is ambitious: In the long term, Arch not only wants to race in the USA, but also on the international stage.  Participation in the 2026 Isle of Man TT should be the highlight.

First successes and prominent support

The debut was promising: Arch works rider Corey Alexander finished seventh at the traditional Daytona 200 in March.  Alexander is no stranger to success – he previously won titles in the AMA Supersport and MotoAmerica Stock 1000 classes.

Another well-known name has joined the team: Jeremy McWilliams, former MotoGP rider and experienced road racer, is on board as team strategist.  According to the official announcement, he will even be riding the Arch bike himself during the course of the season.

TT plans raise questions

Despite all the enthusiasm, there are technical hurdles.  The Super Hooligan class allows motorcycles up to 750 cm³ with a maximum of 125 hp (92 kW).  The TT Supertwin class, in which Arch presumably wants to compete, has even stricter requirements: Only road-based two-cylinders with a maximum of 700 cm³ are permitted.

If Arch is seriously interested in competing in the TT Supertwin class, a completely new development would be necessary – or a special permit.  Whether the latter is possible remains to be seen.  However, with Keanu Reeves in the paddock, attention is increasing – and with it the chances.

Arch Racing on TV: Hollywood accompanies the project

The Arch Racing project will not only be visible on the track.  An accompanying TV documentary is already in the works.  The series is being produced by Sharon Trojan Hollinger and Trojan Horse Productions.  An exact release date has not yet been set.
