Technical basis: Ducati 821 with Testastretta engine
The heart of the bike continues to be Ducati’s well-known 821 cc Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder engine. It delivers 110 hp (81 kW) at 9,250 rpm and provides a maximum torque of 89.4 Newton meters (Nm) at 7,750 rpm. The power delivery remains sporty and responsive, as is customary for the Monster series.
Exclusive equipment and high-quality components
The motorcycle’s base has been consistently refined. The striking aluminum bodywork extends across the entire bike and is complemented at the rear by a carbon element that surrounds the seat area. The dry weight is approximately 175 kg (around 386 lbs), while the seat height is 870 mm.
For the chassis, Bandit9 uses non-adjustable 43 mm Sachs forks at the front and an adjustable Sachs monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment at the rear. The brake system is from Brembo and consists of two radially mounted monobloc calipers with 320 mm discs at the front and a 245 mm brake disc at the rear. Details such as the fuel cap and fork covers are also made of polished aluminum, rounding off the high-quality overall impression.
Limited availability and price
Production is limited to nine units worldwide. This exclusive one-off model costs US$44,900 (approx. €41,500). Interested parties can already pre-order the motorcycle on the official Bandit9 website. The production and delivery time is expected to be between six and twelve months.
