Big rock spectacle in Birmingham
The concert will take place on Saturday, July 5, at Villa Park in Birmingham, Black Sabbath’s hometown. “Back to the Beginning” is set to celebrate the band’s groundbreaking career and lasting influence on rock and metal. In addition to Black Sabbath themselves, renowned bands such as Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, and Mastodon will take to the stage. An international all-star project is also planned to perform. As part of this event, Ozzy Osbourne will first give a short solo set before performing one last time with Black Sabbath as the original lineup. The concert is already considered one of the most outstanding live events of recent years.
Charity auction: motorcycle, guitar, and autographs from the rock elite
All proceeds from the “Back to the Beginning” concert and the charity auction will be donated to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. The latter is supported by Aston Villa Football Club, among others.
To pay tribute to the event, the Indian Sport Chief RT was customised by Krazy Horse, a well-known customiser and authorised dealer. The motorcycle is inspired by the life’s work of Ozzy Osbourne and the band Black Sabbath. Typical design elements and the rebellious rock attitude are reflected in numerous details. To complement this, Gibson has provided a Gibson SG Standard guitar, which will also be customized by Krazy Horse with a matching paint job.
What makes this special is that the Sport Chief RT will be signed backstage by the performing musicians during the event. This will not only make the one-of-a-kind bike a coveted collector’s item, but also an extraordinary symbol of the connection between music and motorcycle culture.
Comments from Indian Motorcycle and Krazy Horse
Aaron Jax, Vice President of Indian Motorcycle, emphasized: “Motorcycles and music, especially rock and metal, are closely linked by shared values such as power, freedom, and tradition. Black Sabbath has achieved extraordinary things, and we are honored to be part of this significant musical event and to support important charitable causes. We would like to thank Krazy Horse, Gibson, and everyone involved for their contribution to these projects.”
Paul Beamish, founder and CEO of Krazy Horse, also commented: “The invitation to design a custom bike for such an iconic band as Black Sabbath is an extraordinary opportunity. We are proud to honor the band’s influence and promote the causes they support. The unveiling of the motorcycle and the signatures of numerous artists will make this piece truly one of a kind.”
A unique collector’s item and exclusive backstage experience
Indian Motorcycle will also present other models backstage during the event to offer artists, VIP guests, and music legends an exclusive experience.
