From September 5 to 10, 2023, Harley-Davidson will write another chapter in its impressive history. During these days, Austria’s Lake Faaker See will be dominated by motorcycle culture. The European Bike Week is not only a fixed point for all Harley enthusiasts, but also attracts bikers of all brands from all over Europe.
The European Bike Week: More than just a motorcycle festival
Amidst the picturesque Alpine panorama at Lake Faak in Austria, the motorcycle world is preparing for a major event. 2023, a year that already shines with the impressive 120th anniversary of Harley-Davidson, now awaits with another highlight: European Bike Week celebrates its 25th anniversary.
A journey through Europe’s breathtaking
The appeal of the European Bike Week goes far beyond motorcycling. The route to Lake Faak takes bikers through some of Europe’s most picturesque landscapes. And once there, visitors to Carinthia can expect not only stunning mountain scenery, but also iconic landmarks like the “Harleywood” sign and the striking Harley-Davidson statue.
Anniversaries, innovations and everything in between
Three special anniversaries will shape the 2023 celebrations in Faak: 25 years of European Bike Week, 120 years of Harley-Davidson and 40 years of the Harley Owners Group. But the festival offers even more. The new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models are a special highlight. They embody the technological top class of Harley-Davidson. The newly launched Adventure Zone also promises to make a splash, with the off-road capabilities of the Pan America 1250 taking center stage.
The heart of the show: the bikes
The variety of machines on display is impressive. From LiveWire’s futuristic electric motorcycles to the latest Harley-Davidson models, test rides invite visitors to experience the latest technologies up close. And of course, the timeless classics that shine in the classic car exhibition are not to be missed.
A feast for all the senses
Musical sounds fill the evening air while bikers and visitors enjoy more than 100 booths, from Harley-Davidson fashion to culinary delights. The highlight? The big motorcycle parade on Saturday, where thousands of motorcycles put on an impressive show.
Finally, Kolja Rebstock, Regional Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, sums up his enthusiasm: “We have already experienced a lot in this year of our 120th anniversary, but I am particularly pleased to now cordially invite all motorcycle fans to Faak for the first quarter century of the European Bike Week.
